GCC’s first project in 1996 was rehabilitation of a 50’ retaining wall for the Village of Des Plaines, IL. Gradually, project by project, they built their capacity and capabilities and now perform large scale waterway projects and design-build for the federal government. GCC has worked on complex projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Agriculture, Illinois Department of Transportation and private sector fortune 500 companies including Waste Management, Standard Parking and Norfolk Southern Railway. Their personnel have extensive experience working with FAA, GSA, NPS, Navy, DOL, Dept. of Ag, USACE, Smithsonian and NIST.
