The General Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship of Women and Youth (DER/FJ) is a structure attached to the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic of Senegal (was created by decree n ° 2017-2123 of November 15, 201 and having as missions:

• the definition and implementation of strategies to promote the self-employment of young people and women;
• the mobilization of resources and the financing of business creation projects and income-generating activities;
• strengthening the technical and managerial capacities of beneficiaries;
• supervision and monitoring-evaluation of funded projects and activities.

Its creation follows the manifest desire of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Macky Sall, to fully involve women and young people in the running of the national economy. Thus, the DER/FJ was set up, a public tool whose aim is to intervene effectively on the issues of financing entrepreneurship, job and wealth creation, economic inclusion and financial, as well as social and territorial equity.
