GADEM is an association under Moroccan law governed by the Dahir N ° 1.58.376 of 3 joumada I 1378 (November 15, 1958) relative to the right of association as it has been modified and completed thereafter and in particular by the new Law No. 75-00.
The GADEM operates as part of activity: foreign rights component, advocacy component and intercultural / discrimination component
Overall objective: Contribute to the exit from exclusion and the recognition of the rights of foreigners and migrants (GADEM includes in this concept refugees and asylum seekers, which does not affect the definition of international law of the refugee).
Specific objective: The rights of foreigners and migrants are recognized and better applied
Expected results:
R1: Actions to upgrade the national legal framework with international texts are implemented.
R2: The protection mechanisms, judicial and extra-judicial, of the rights of migrants are reinforced.
R3: Actions to change the gaze on Sub-Saharan migrants and refugees and fight against discrimination are put in place.
R4: Awareness and advocacy actions are jointly conducted for the respect of the rights of migrants and are relayed in Europe and Africa.
