Habitat for Humanity is making a difference

Through community-led construction, renovation or new build projects, they mobilise and support communities as they help people in housing need. With them communities help poor and vulnerable people to claim their housing rights and create access to and overcome barriers to safe, decent and appropriate housing.

Habitat for Humanity’s vision is a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live, and a world where housing poverty and homelessness are eliminated. They believe that the home is a key catalyst in helping to permanently break the cycle of poverty.

Their core work focuses on housing and shelter and they want vulnerable people everywhere to have the strength, stability, and self-reliance associated with having a place to call home.
