As an NGO aiming to realize a society where people around the world can protect their own health through international health and medical cooperation, they started activities in 2000. In cooperation with NGOs, governments, and international organizations in each country, they support the creation of health care mechanisms in each country and region while considering the environment and culture. Until now, they have been conducting projects including maternal and child health in Brazil's Amazon region, Afghanistan, Kenya, Indonesia, Sudan, Honduras, Oceania (Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu), Philippines, Djibouti, Papua New Guinea and reconstruction assistance in Tohoku disaster areas Project implementation. In parallel with onsite activities, they are also engaged in education, research activities and advocacy activities related to the implementation of training and workshops and international cooperation in the field of health care.
In Brazil (to take over to the NGO in 2015), Kenya and Papua New Guinea, local maternal and child health, regional health care activities are established in the local office and community-based. In addition, Sudan 'Frontline Maternal and Child Health Enhancement Project', Honduras 'Orancho County Adolescent Health Project', Philippines 'East Bisaya Regional Maternal and Child Health Service Enhancement Project', Pacific State Region 'Regional Health Nurse' JICA technical cooperation projects such as "Project for Strengthening Training" ", and has experience in developing and practicing health care systems by dispatching experts and consultants to surveys and projects.
They also conduct seminars and workshops, and cooperate with training programs implemented by the Japan International Cooperation Agency to train domestic international health and medical personnel. They also make suggestions on the importance and direction of ongoing international health and medical cooperation to realize regional development in harmony with the residents' health, through academic societies, reports, etc. to the government and society. Also, during the Tohoku earthquake, they conducted the first national support activities.
