Implemental Worldwide (Maudsley International)
About

Implemental (previously known as Maudsley International) is an expert organisation that helps its clients develop and improve services and support for people who have mental health problems. This includes promoting good mental health and mental wellbeing. They work with governments, providers of health services and employers in the public, private and voluntary sectors in many different countries.

Their services are provided by mental health professionals and managers who have worked in some of the best NHS services in the UK, and specialist researchers from the world-renowned Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London. They share their skills and knowledge, and their experience of supporting the development of mental health policy and practice across the world.

Implemental is a social enterprise and not-for-profit community interest company. They charge a fair rate for the work they do and use any surplus to develop free resources and support initiatives that aim to improve people’s mental health and wellbeing. This includes the Wheel of Wellbeing website: Implemental became responsible for maintaining and developing this site in April 2017.

The organisation was set up in 2007 by the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). This is an NHS organisation that provides a range of mental health services in the community and in hospitals, including the famous Maudsley and Bethlem Royal Hospitals.
