Institute for Structural Research (IBS) is a Polish, independent research foundation, which aims to conduct and support research in the fields of economy, mathematics and applied IT.
Within the framework of our work we also assist public and private institutions and policy makers. We devote particular attention to promote practical application of research results and to increase the understanding of public policies both at national and regional levels.
Our staff associated with the leading Polish academic institutions combine strong theoretical foundations with extensive experience gained in private sector and public administration. Among the most significant objectives of the Institute for Structural Research is the support for the public institutions in the definition of the strategic priorities and planning of socio-economic policy at the central, regional and local level. We deal with the issues of greatest significance for Poland and European Union, serving public partners with assistance in the quantitative and qualitative estimation of the key phenomena for increasing economic competitiveness and strengthening labor market in medium and long term.
