The Fashion Institute was founded by Fernando Burgo in 1961, his long and thriving experience in the area of fashion has proven to be successfully. His direction enables the students to be in touch with the fashion world and all opportunities of training and work the fashion industry has to offer. At the end of every school year Istituto di Moda Burgo organizes a fashion show for its students. This is a great event for the school staff and also for people who's working in this field because they can discover new talented designers. Companies

Close cooperation with companies, atelier, style offices placed in Milan and in Italy, such as Dolce & Gabbana, Krizia, Armani, Gucci, Gianfranco Ferré and many more. We give them contacts of the new upcoming Fashion Designers.

 

Also, we offer fashion advice to companies, such as the planning of a fashion portfolio either women's wear, menswear or children's wear, pattern books, trends, restyling.

 

Schools and Universities

The institute is cooperating with international schools placed in Japan, Switzerland, Austria, Peru, etc.

 

The last cooperations in chronological order are:

  • EGYPT, the Egyptian Ministry of Technology, after a selection of 200 Italian fashion schools, decides to give the management of the Fashion Design Center (FDC) and its fashion style office to Istituto di Moda Burgo.

 

  • INDIA, with INIFD the biggest Indian organization of fashion design schools (180 branches), decides to use our didactic books of fashion design e pattern making and to receive the technical cooperation from Istituto di Moda Burgo.

 

  • MEXICO with the first fashion school IMB by Loren's
