Medecins Sans Frontieres field workers bring life-saving medical assistance to people in need around the world. Each year MSF sends out more than 4,600 field workers who work with about 27,000 local staff helping populations in need.
Médecins Sans Frontières Japan (MSFJ) is an important part of the global MSF organization, committed to delivering independent medical-humanitarian aid to populations in crisis in over 60 countries. MSFJ operates in Japan and the Republic of Korea (Seoul) and has been in existence for over 20 years.
Recently Japanese and Korean field workers have been active in Nigeria, Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Yemen, Pakistan, Georgia, Armenia, Sri Lanka, India, and many other places where people lack even the most basic health care.
