The MICM is the governing body and responsible for the formulation, adoption, monitoring, evaluation and control of policies, strategies, general plans, programs, projects and services in the sectors of industry, exports, domestic trade and foreign trade , free zones, special regimes and MSMEs, including the commercialization, control and supply of the oil derivatives market and other fuels, in accordance with the guidelines and priorities of the Central Government.
Promote the development of industry, commerce and MSMEs, facilitating their sustainable growth and the generation of quality jobs, through the design and implementation of public policies and the efficient regulation of productive activities, promoting the competitiveness of these sectors.
