The Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy (MIREME) is a State body which, in accordance with the principles, objectives and tasks defined by the Government, directs and ensures the implementation of Government policy in geological research, exploitation of mineral and energy resources, and development and expansion of infrastructures for the supply of electricity, natural gas and petroleum products.
