It exercises supervision over public establishments and other bodies under its authority; in accordance with the laws and regulations in force;
For this purpose; and subject to the attributions devolved to other ministerial departments, it is responsible for:
The direction of the vocational training and the contained training of the craftsmen; is responsible for implementing the training development strategy.
For this purpose; it is responsible for:

Implement and monitor the execution of the vocational training policy and programs at the level of vocational training establishments in the craft sector and adapt them to the needs of the latter in coordination with the government authority responsible for professional training ;

Contribute, in coordination with the craft chambers, to the preparation, implementation and evaluation of apprenticeship training programs.

Monitor and evaluate the activities of training establishments in the craft sector;

Identify and meet the needs of vocational training establishments in terms of human resources, budget and materials, in coordination with the resources and information systems department;

Develop and implement continuing training programs for artisans, in coordination with the heritage preservation, innovation and promotion department.

Develop programs and activities in the field of vocational training aimed at the preservation of craft trades threatened with extinction.
