The Ministry of Treasury and Finance is responsible for the planning, direction and control of budgetary and financial policies of the province of Mendoza and the design of fiscal policy through maximization and greater efficiency in the collection of resources. These objectives are aimed at achieving a better distribution and rational and efficient execution of public sector expenditures and their impact on the population.

The axis of the Ministry is the control of the expense and the efficiency in the administration and transparency of the management.

These actions are carried out with the goal of fulfilling the guidelines outlined by the current management, mainly in terms of public works, education, health and safety. The Ministry of Finance has under its management the management of the Tax Administration of Mendoza (ATM), the Purchasing and Supplies Department, the International Financing Unit (UFI) and the Treasury management of the Province.
