The German non-profit association "Mobile Hilfe Madagaskar eV" was founded in October 2010 and creates the legal and financial basis for the work of Tanja Hock and her team in Madagascar. Their goal is to collect donations to enable the valuable work that the team are doing in Madagascar. The association is currently managed on a voluntary basis in Germany, which is a major challenge.
Mobile aid is a great blessing in Madagascar. In addition to the fact that more people are being treated every year, the fact that they are employers of currently 70 full-time Madagascans is not negligible. Many families earn their livelihood from the salary that they earn.
They now have volunteers from Germany, Holland and further afield all year round. The aim is always to support, learn, guide and train the local employees. The volunteers never miss out on learning and experiencing insights into a completely different world with their own strengths and challenges. It is a give and take that enriches everyone.
