OKO.press is a non-profit, investigative journalism and fact-checking project created to preserve freedom of speech and secure availability of information in Poland.

Launched June 15, 2016, OKO.press’s start was financed by Agora Holding (publisher of „Gazeta Wyborcza”, the largest liberal daily in Poland) and Polityka Sp z o.o. („Polityka” is the largest liberal weekly).

In less than half a year OKO.press became a widely recognised, oftenly cited medium supported by unique community of its’ readers.
