In 2011, a group of like minded students and professionals came together to do their part in contibuting towards the cause of education in Pakistan. 

Based in Karachi, the group quickly sought inspiration from various schools and NGO models to customize their vision into what is now Orange Tree Foundation. Functioning out of their premises in DHA Karachi - Orange Tree hosts its own in-house Montessori program and teaching staff, students' Mothers educational classes, extended workshops for students Fathers and the administration office. The premises are also used for health check ups, alumni tuition and follow ups, meetings and much more.

Today Orange Tree is a registered nonprofit organization that stays true to its values of providing equal opportunities to as many members of society as possible within its reach. Starting with just a handful of students and families from Lyari, today they stand at over 160 students in its alumni from all over Karachi.
