The company OUVRY weaves its CBRN fabrics in the Lyon district of Vaise, on the former site of the Rhodiacéta where formerly were produced the fibers of cellulose triacetate. By focusing on innovation, understanding the needs of its customers and export, it contributes to the rebirth of this industrial district.
OUVRY specializes in CBRN personal protection systems, also known as CBRNe (Nuclear, Radiological, Biological, Chemical and Explosive). Of the two CBRN personal protection concepts, insulating concepts (airtight plastic materials in plastics) or filter concepts (air permeable filter textiles), OUVRY has chosen the CBRN filtering protection solutions.
Unlike plastic insulating solutions, filter textiles allow air exchange and the evacuation of water vapor. Thus the physiological tolerance of their CBRN equipment on end users is considerably increased, as well as robustness and protection. The mainly French industrial chain and the license on the filter media allows to meet all demands with excellent responsiveness (large production capacities, industrial risk management, sharp technical requirements ...).
The mission: define with its customers the CBRN protection system best suited to their missions and environments. OUVRY has today developed a large wardrobe of extreme for CBRNe risks military and civil. It has declined an industry version for operators operating in a chemically hostile environment (carcinogenic, toxic ...). OUVRY is a founding member of the Defense Defense Cluster EDEN (European Defense Economic Networks), a member of the GICAT and the SAFE CLUSTER competitiveness cluster (Security and Aerospace Actors for the Future of Earth). It is a partner of the French Society of Disaster Medicine (SFMC) and of the European Institute CBRNe of Charleroi.
