PAMS Foundation was established in 2006 as a not-for-profit conservation organisation based in Tanzania. Their mission is to sustain and conserve biodiversity, wilderness, and ecological processes through actions that benefit wildlife and the communities that share these vital habitats.
They work to protect endangered species and environments and to promote awareness of the real value that wildlife and wild places have for our planet. All activities they carry out are inspired by their core values:
The underlying driving force to achieve their strategic goals of protecting wildlife and wild places is the strong involvement of community members including: young school children, wildlife law enforcement professionals and farmers. We carry out educational programs, ranger training and protected areas management, and collaboration with local authorities and international stakeholders.
