Play4Peace
About

Play4Peace is a platform for the personal and professional development of all vulnerable young people aged 16 to 28. They develop their talent and potential through sport and education. They offer free access to sports sessions (golf, rugby, boxing, football and bowling) as well as inspiring conferences, training and coaching in personal development. Play4Peace is driven by the deep belief that every young person deserves a fair chance at success. In the face of glaring inequalities in the labour market and the youth mental health crisis, where suicide is tragically prevalent, they are acting to create lasting change. They believe in the transformative power of sport and education to shape a better future for young people, making Play4Peace not only a platform for professional success but also a haven of positivity and resilience.

Play4Peace was officially founded in November 2015 but has been active since 2014.

Ayman Ramdani launched this project in memory of their father, Mohamed Ramdani, who passed away in 2014 after a long struggle with illness. Ayman felt the need to create this project, both to honor their father's memory and as a way to cope with their own pain. They understood that engaging in humanitarian and solidarity actions would allow them to better overcome his grief while bringing positive value to society.

Ayman's father was an orphan who had a passion for sports and who emphasized the importance of education as a means of personal development and openness to others. They wanted to pass on these values to their children and the idea of never forgetting less fortunate people, especially orphans.

Ayman Ramdani, eager to perpetuate these family values, decided to create Play4Peace to offer young people, regardless of their past, origin or culture, support and an environment conducive to their development. The association therefore aims to offer young people with fewer opportunities activities through which they can grow, share, regain self-confidence, enrich themselves and express their creativity. Play4Peace thus allows many young people to break out of their routine, explore the world, get involved in society and be ambassadors in their neighbourhoods and communities.

For Ayman, the society of tomorrow is built and developed with young people.

In summary, Play4Peace is an organisation based on family values of solidarity, education and openness, aiming to offer young people with fewer opportunities support for their personal development and fulfilment, while perpetuating the legacy of the love of sport and education

Mission and Vision

Vision: Building a society where every young person, regardless of their socio-economic background or culture, can develop their full potential and access a promising future.

Mission: To promote social inclusion by supporting disadvantaged young people in their personal and professional development through sport, education and mentoring.

Their Approach

Play4Peace applies an inclusive and comprehensive approach for young people aged 16 to 28, based on three pillars:

  • Access to sport: Through free sports sessions (golf, football, boxing and bowling), they help young people build their confidence, improve their physical and mental well-being, manage everyday stress and boost their concentration.
  • Education and training: Through conferences, workshops and individual coaching, they provide young people with the tools necessary for their personal development and professional integration, thus offering them concrete opportunities to advance in their careers.
  • Mentoring and networking: By connecting young people with mentors and a network of professionals, they help them broaden their perspectives, explore new paths and build relationships that foster their development.

Their Commitments

  • Mental Health: All their activities are designed to foster resilience and self-confidence. With suicide being the leading cause of death among young people aged 15 to 29, they place mental well-being at the heart of their mission to support each young person in their vision for the future.
  • Breaking down social and cultural barriers: They work to create bridges between different backgrounds to overcome social and cultural obstacles, so that every young person has access to equal opportunities in the professional world.

Together, they are building a more inclusive future where every young person can fully express their potential.
