The First Microfinance Agency (PAMF) Madagascar was created in 2006 by the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance (AKAM) as a public limited company. 

The mission is to reduce poverty in Madagascar by fighting economic and social exclusion through access to quality financial solutions adapted to the realities of the Malagasy market. As a result, they support their clients to become independent and acquire the skills necessary to be able to integrate into traditional financial circuits.
