In 2007, as a result of Compartamos Banco's initial public offering, Promotora Social México (PSM) increased its equity thanks to the participation it has held in that company since its foundation. Two years later - in 2009 - and after going through a process of institutionalization, PSM began to operate to fulfill its purpose.

Promotora Social México is a strategic partner Compartamos Banco and maintains its participation in Grupo Compartamos with the aim of reaffirming its focus and social purpose.

The mission of Promotora Social Mexico is to seek the integral development of the least favored people, through the promotion of sustainable social projects.
