Their mission
Contribute to sustainable development through food
Who they are
REDD was created in 2010 by people who believed in the need to preserve and promote quality food products for the good of people and the earth.
Their expertise and international reputation on quality labels and signs quickly enabled them to support public administrations and producers in different countries in setting up systems to protect original products. For example, they have contributed to increasing the prices for producers of grapefruit from Koh Trung in Cambodia, to better coordinate the management of the Neretva mandarin sectors in Croatia and that of Arillea raspberries in Serbia, or to preserve the traditional production of Tnalak from Lake Sebu in the Philippines.
From their work with traditional product sectors, the desire to collaborate with local administrations on territorial projects was born. Inspired by the food movement in Detroit, they launched the Prév'mange pilot project which allows the population of a municipality to participate in concrete actions to preserve the climate and promote a vibrant local economy.
