Promoting Public and Private Partnerships in the Philippines:
The “Promoting Public-Private Partnership in Infrastructure Development” Project aims to establish an enduring policy and institutional environment that promotes a transparent, competitive, and predictable environment for PPP infrastructure projects. It supports the government approach of harnessing private sector resources and expertise for infrastructure development through the PPP framework.
It also advocates for policy reforms in order to improve the environment for private sector participants. The realization of these goals is expected toattract greater market participation in infrastructure development.
