The Research Support Foundation - FUNAPE, is a private, non-profit entity, with administrative and financial autonomy, created by a group of researchers from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) in order to support the management of research projects. research, teaching, extension, institutional development and technological innovation.

In fulfilling its Institutional Mission, the Foundation acts as a business office, in support of the Federal University of Goiás - UFG and other Scientific and Technological Institutions - ICTs, serving as a link between academia and productive agents in order to promote the country's scientific and technological development. In the past 3 years, 2023 projects have been captured and executed.
