Sal Forest is Thailand’s first “sustainable business accelerator.” Founded in July 2013, the group aims to jumpstart and sustain a public discourse on sustainable business via events, print and online media, as well as conducting research on important sustainability issues in Thailand and social impact assessment.
The company was co-founded by Sarinee Achavanuntakul, a prolific author and translator who has written and translated over 50 books, and Pattraporn Yamla-or, marketer and social businesswoman who co-founded the Southeast Asia round of Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC) while working at Thammasat Business School. Both founders have since joined forces with 5 like-minded individuals. The team is ready to take part in transitioning Thailand’s business environment towards authentic sustainable development.
