Samridhdhi Trust has set up 3 Bridge Schools.These are no-fee bridge schools to give basic education to out-of-school children of migrant labourers in a multilevel and multilingual atmosphere. It has been working in Bangalore at Brookefields, Thuberahalli slum area near Kundalahalli Gate, BTM layout, and  now in Ibblur near Suncity, with more than 280 children. The children are given a classroom oriented basic education and then prepared and facilitated for their admission to mainstream English medium schools. Subsequently  the students who join mainstream schools are sponsored with half their tuition fees and provided with supplementary evening tuitions. 

Samridhdhi Trust has set up a rigourous coaching program conducted by branded Educational Institutions for economically deprived students of  Class IX-XII from public and private schools. This program strives to assist the students for improving their results in SSLC and PUC and then pursue higher studies in the branches of Engineering, Medical and related professional courses. The first of its centre is at Government High School Immadihalli, funded by Manipal Foundation and implemented by Edurite. 

Samridhdhi Trust was set with the aim to remove poverty through education and employment

  • To provides opportunity for migrant out-of-school children so that they get access to basic education
  • To help them get admitted in mainstream English medium schools in age appropriate classes
  • To monitor their studies through evening tuition and guiding them to higher studies and ultimately establish them in life in their chosen field.

Achievements

  • Starting from alphabets they could take the children to a level, where they could understand, speak, read and write simple English, Hindi and their mother tongue along with 4 operations and other mathematics concepts in just 1-2 years
  • 20 children were admitted to The Brilliant English Medium ICSE School in standards II-VII from the Kundalahalli Bridge school in the academic year 2010-2011
  • For the academic year 2011-2012, total of 45 children from SSSBS and TBS are admitted to The Brilliant English Medium ICSE School, Sishukanj Vidyaniketan English Medium Resident School and Royal English School
  • Provided measurable, irreversible, and substantial positive change through basic education impacting 1400+ OOSC in 3 cities—Bangalore, Pune, and Noida
  • Transformed illiteracy to age-appropriate literacy in the span of 1 year
  • Convinced parents to invest half of the annual mainstream private school fees
  • Admitted 600+ children in mainstream English medium schools, and the number is growing
