Saracens Sport Foundation
About

The Saracens Sport Foundation's mission is to inspire communities and change lives through the power of sport. Through the Saracens brand, professional players and high quality staff, they engage and challenge children and young people to lead an active, healthy and rewarding lifestyle.

A fantastic example of how the charity has broadened its remit was the introduction of the Community Dance Programme. Using the Saracens cheerleaders as role models and dance teachers they have been able to provide activities for children and young people who may not be interested in traditional team sports. The dance activities are designed to help improve fitness levels whilst developing creativity, self-esteem and confidence.

Established in 2000, the Foundation has grown substantially and now employs 14 full time and 30 part time coaches. This has enabled us to broaden and increase dramatically the scope and scale of the services. Using the power of sport they are tackling a broad range of issues such as childhood obesity, social exclusion and educational attainment.

Activities Include; Rugby Programmes, Multi-Sport and Dance Programmes, Education and Health Programmes, Social Inclusion Programmes and Volunteer Programmes Programmes.
