Celebrating 31 years of nourishing community, Share Food Program continues to serve a regional network of organizations engaged in food distribution, education, and advocacy. Through 500 volunteer-led food cupboards, Share brings 26 million pounds of emergency food relief to Philadelphians facing hunger each year. Share also distributes shelf-stable food boxes to over 5,000 low-income seniors, and grocery packages that offer families 40 percent savings. Nice Roots Farm at Share grows just over 10,000 pounds of produce. Share's mobile produce market brings this produce and other affordable fresh food to schools and senior centers in Philadelphia.
