Solarpraxis Engineering GmbH was founded in 2014 as a spin-off of the former engineering department of the Berliner Solarpraxis AG.

The core of the company, which starts to operate under the name Solarpraxis Engineering GmbH since 1 January 2014, has always been engineering.

Until autumn 2015, Solarpraxis Engineering GmbH was still a 100% subsidiary of Solarpraxis AG. Today, Solarpraxis Engineering GmbH is an independent company based in Berlin Tempelhof.
