SOLIDAR SWITZERLAND / AOS is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 1936 by the Swiss Trade Union Union (USS) and the Socialist Party (PS). It is headquartered in Zürich and is represented in Bolivia by its coordination office.

SOLIDAR began its work in Bolivia in the 80s, under a Framework Agreement, which has been successively renewed. In more than 20 years of presence in the country, he has worked alongside civil society organizations, especially in rural areas, on projects aimed at strengthening their capacity for representation, proposal, negotiation and consultation in their relationship with the State, NGOs and Other institutions

Currently, with its own resources, it executes two programs: Promotion of Labor and Youth Rights and Democracy. Simultaneously, and by mandate of the Swiss Cooperation in Bolivia (SDC), SOLIDAR also executes the Program for the Improvement of Local Services (PMS).
