About

Students for Malawi are a grassroots educational charity that develops innovative solutions to global problems.

Their journey began back in 2010 in Glasgow, as a small student group working with students from the University of Malawi.

They stepped off the plane into the warm heart of Africa and never looked back.

On the 19th of March 2013, Students for Malawi​ was established as an independant organisation with the goal of supporting the youth of Scotland and Malawi, harnessing their skills, passion and enthusiasm to make a better and just world.

Mission
To advance citizenship and community development through the delivery of knowledge exchange and skills development workshops

To enhance education through the delivery of skills training programmes to encourage learning, research and knowledge exchange

To promote internationalisation and education through the delivery of global citizenship programmes to encourage learning and knowledge exchange 

To relieve poverty and increase employability through the delivery of income generation and skills development programmes to assist those in need
