Suffolk Young People’s Health Project (also known as 4YP) is a local charity, which provides and co-ordinates services that improve the social, emotional, and physical health and wellbeing of young people in Suffolk, aged 12-25.
They work from the drop-in centre in Lower Brook Street, Ipswich and throughout the county, including in many schools.
Through advice, guidance, and practical support they help young people develop the skills and knowledge they need to lead healthier, happier, safer, more resilient lifestyles, make more informed choices, and enable them to reach their potential.
This is vital support. The services fill a gap in local provision, helping any young person with the issues affecting them, including individuals who do not fit the criteria for conventional support. They also offer many creative, engaging recreational activities.
