TARAIC is a regional and local development consultancy providing services to public institutions, non-governmental organisations, and private companies in the preparation and implementation of development programmes and projects. The organization's experience stems predominantly from working with EU- and donor-funded projects.
TARAIC believes that high-quality projects only arise from in-depth analyses of the needs and strengths of the institutions in question, and from mastery of economic trends, sectoral policies, and funding mechanisms. The Organziation see clients as partners and support them in the successful uptake of development funding with attention to the specific needs and goals of their organisations and the target groups with whom they operate. Our work spans all phases in the programming and project cycle, from needs-analysis, strategic objective setting, and project identification and formulation, through to fundraising, project implementation, project evaluation and recommendations for further planning.
TARAIC was established in 2007 in Novi Sad, Serbia, by a group of experts who had previously worked with international regional-development consultancies in the area of EU pre-accession funding. In founding TARA international Consulting, our idea was to create a team of dedicated, local and international experts deeply familiar with both the macro- and ground-level in Serbia and the surrounding territory, and one able to adapt and respond to the specific needs of our diverse, international partner and clientele group. The organization was motivated to develop a recognisable local intellectual-services provider in order to raise the bar in Serbia’ EU-funding consultancy market, and TARA have proven successful in achieving our initial objectives. The organization believes, furthermore, that through TARAIC and the high standards we set for ourselves and our work, we can contribute heightening the overall quality of development projects in Serbia, its neighbouring countries and beyond, and by doing so, to add value to the socio-economic development of our regional environment.
