The Terre Solidaire Foundation was created in 2016 by CCFD-Terre Solidaire to act, particularly in France, in the face of the two major challenges of our time: the massive degradation of our environment (including biodiversity and climate), and the need to building a fairer and more ecologically responsible society. The association remains mobilized on its mission of solidarity with the countries of the South. 

Faced with the climate crisis and its consequences on populations and ecosystems, it is urgent to act. The Terre Solidaire Foundation has set itself the task of supporting and encouraging initiatives carried out by citizen mobilizations and actors of the social and solidarity economy in the design, implementation, dissemination and experimentation of alternatives to current model of development. Its interventions, in France and abroad, initiate a transition towards a society more respectful of nature, women and men, as well as the limits of the Earth.

Recognized as a public utility, the Terre Solidaire Foundation is also a shelter. By welcoming foundations created by individuals, associations or companies, its ambition is to bring together a community of commitments concerned with finding concrete solutions in favor of the ecological and solidarity transition.
