They define culture as a constantly changing set of values, identities, practices, traditions and aspirations that govern the way we live and relate as individuals, communities and nations. Culture is central to they well–being and to defining the ideal society we seek.
Objectives
- Safeguarding and promoting cultural heritage resources through heritage education in secondary schools, conserving endangered species, mapping and supporting community museums, historical buildings and sites
- Promoting cultural rights through advocacy for the rights of indigenous minority groups and other ethnic groups
- Managing cultural diversity through fostering the existence of cultural and supporting cultural institutions to adapt to their changing operating context
