About

The SSCL is comprised of an inclusive membership of close to 60 members (INGO’s, IO’s, local NGO’s and UN agencies) and represents a wide platform for information sharing, coordination, training and best practice in risk management. Its aim is to enhance safety and security by fostering awareness and dialogue, analysis and improved risk management amongst members, strategic partners and the Lebanese community. It works towards building predictive, innovative and enabling products for members.

 

Function

SSCL Members are provided with a broad range of products: real-time alerts through secure social media outlets, weekly briefs, bespoke analysis, safety advisories, country security briefs to newcomers, access to trainings at a reduced cost, coordination meetings (general info-sharing and exclusive meetings with Country Directors and Risk Advisors/Experts), capacity building assistance and access to SSCL Team of Specialists.

 

The SSCL provides advice and information on safety and security but the security management remain a responsibility of each agency.
