The Ubele Initiative is a social enterprise with a mission to contribute to the sustainability of the African Diaspora community. Through social leadership development, community enterprise and social action, they incubate projects across the UK.
They create partnerships with local, regional, national and international organisations to create innovative solutions for some of our most pressing social, economic and political concerns.
Ubele in Swahili means ‘The Future’. They founded The Ubele Initiative in 2014 with a mission to contribute to the sustainability of the African Diaspora community in the UK and build a better future. They are a new inter-generational community building initiative which aims to increase their community’s capacity to lead, and create innovative and entrepreneurial social responses to some of our most stuck social issues.
