About

The OTR was created by the law of 10 December 2012 voted unanimously by the representatives of the people. It integrates the general directorates of Customs and Taxes into a single structure. 
It is a public administrative institution with administrative and financial management autonomy. 

It is responsible for collecting taxes, duties and customs duties on behalf of the State and local authorities. 

He is also responsible for: 
1) advising or representing the government in tax and customs matters; 
2) promote voluntary consent to tax; 
3) fight against fraud, tax evasion and corruption; 
4) produce statistics on collected revenues.

Vision

The OTR proposes to be a modern and efficient revenue mobilization office, capable of self-financing national needs.

Mission

The Togolese Revenue Agency (OTR) has the following missions:

• to establish, administer and recover taxes, duties and taxes and collect local taxes on behalf of local authorities;
• fight against fraud, tax evasion and corruption;
• provide quality service to taxpayers / users;
• advising the Government on all questions relating to tax policy, producing and publishing statistics on tax and customs revenues collected.
