About

Tonata PLHIV Network for people affected by, or living with, HIV. There is an opportunity be part of the efforts to prevent HIV, prevent stigma, and secure rights for people living with HIV. Tonata is the network for people living with HIV and support groups in Namibia. We do help People Living with HIV to set up and access support groups. Support groups can become organised to create social change. People in support groups are able to share and get information. Tonata can help promote social change through dialogue and voice.

They deal with
> Access to services, Stigma, Treatment adherence, employment rights, dignity, trainings, working with Regional AIDS Coordinating Comittees (RACOCs), radio programs, newsletters, expertise, advice, counselling, advocacy and activism.

> Envisage a free society with a strong voice for PLHIV and ensuring quality of life.

> Providing and maintaining a network of support groups and advocate for people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.
