The company originated in 1945, fruit of the union of efforts of the brothers Joaquim and Germano Toniolo and the cousin Octaviano Albino Busnello. This year, they began the opening of the first tunnel for the Railway Battalion, in the Morro São Luis, municipality of Bento Gonçalves.
