twospinningwheels productions is a production company that aims to explore new languages in cinema and marginalized voices having access to the craft of filmmaking. It is a company dedicated to making the stories visible that the mainstream renders invisible. The company achieves this by training people in video who will most likely not see their stories on the screen: people with disabilities, the LGBTQI sector, abused women living in shelters, those living in poverty, children and elders. Our offices are based in Nelson Mandela Bay and in Cape Town. twospinningwheels productions also produces local documentaries that have universal themes and international appeal.
