The predecessor of VOLÁN Buszpark Kft. Was founded on July 20, 2006 under the name Alfa Travel Kft. Parallel to the change of the Company's name and registered office, a significant change in its ownership structure and activities took place in mid-2016. VOLÁN Buszpark Kft. Operates as a fleet management company of the Regional Transport Centers and VOLÁNBUSZ Zrt., A for-profit company owned by the transport companies and the Hungarian State.

The business objective of the Company is to commence the renewal of the fleet available to the Transport Centers and VOLÁNBUSZ Zrt. Improve the quality of the bus and coach service, implement a coordinated bus procurement strategy for the companies, and improve the quality of service compared to the Company's resources. The Company operates within the framework set by the Bus Working Committee and the National Bus Purchasing Committee.

In accordance with its operational objectives, the Company started to procure buses approved by NABB in 2016 and to lease the assets to the owner transport companies. In addition to the already existing 25 buses at the beginning of 2016, by the end of 2016, a further 174 buses will be picked up and leased, and by the successful completion of the public procurement procedures started, a further 274 buses will be leased or rented at the beginning of 2017. It rose to 473 pieces.
