WWF DNA
As an advocate of dialogue and respect for the other, WWF takes a globalist approach that takes into account the interdependence between the state of the planet and human development.
"Together, we are the solution"
There remains a chance to preserve the living planet for future generations. But everyone must act now, collectively and on an unprecedented scale. Everyone has a role to play because together everyone is the solution.
Born in 1961, WWF is one of the world's leading independent environmental protection organizations. Their experience as a world-renowned foundation has taught them that the well-being of humans and the good health of the environment and wildlife are closely linked. That is why they adopt a globalist approach that takes into account the interdependence between the state of the planet and human development.
Since 1973, WWF France has been working on a daily basis to offer future generations a living planet. Because it is urgent today to put a stop to the degradation of the natural environment of the planet, WWF France intervenes at various levels: from the safeguarding of the natural environments and their species to the promotion of lifestyles sustainable development, through the training of decision-makers and the support of companies towards sustainable development.
This is why, in line with WWF's strategy around the world, WWF France has set up a new programmatic strategy for the next four years in the summer of 2016. It is divided into five key issues and three transversal levers.
The time is indeed transversality: to save the polar bear, it is necessary to preserve the pack ice and therefore fight against global warming. In short, review our methods of construction, consumption, displacement.
