WWF is the international organization that provides solutions to protect and restore nature worldwide. They are active in the field, advising on political decisions, supported by a strong community of people working for a better planet. Together, they are determined to halt the loss of biodiversity: from tigers, elephants and other endangered key species to unique areas, such as the Amazon or the Ocean, that sustain life on Earth and their well-being. 
 

WWF is one of the largest and most respected global conservation s organizations in the world. WWF leads projects in more than 100 countries. WWF - International 's head office is located in  Gland , Switzerland. WWF was founded in 1961. Today it manages more than 1,000  projects around the world.   
Most WWF projects are carried out locally and are very varied. It is the creation of  a b uncle's plantation in the Democratic Republic of Congo  to the actions in your supermarket. From protecting the habitat of the orangutans to creating reserves for the giant panda.

WWF wants to stop environmental degradation on their planet and build a future where humans live in harmony with nature, by working to conserve biodiversity, by ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources and by encouraging people to reduce pollution and over-consumption.

• uses the most reliable and most current scientific information to evaluate each problem and identify solutions;
• seeks dialogue and avoids unnecessary confrontation;
• develops concrete solutions for nature conservation through a combination of fieldwork, political initiatives, capacity building and education;
• involve local communities and indigenous peoples in the planning and implementation of its programs, while respecting their culture and economic needs;
• works cost-efficiently and makes use of the donations with the necessary transparency.
