Promoting the welfare and development of Malaysians especially the welfare of children and families. To achieve the goal, the Yayasan Kebajikan Negara has outlined some of its objectives as follow:
i. Help improve the standard of living of those in need through financial allocation and through various welfare, health and education services.
ii. To encourage and emphasize in nurturing the welfare services of families and children.
iii. Encourage and assist the development of voluntary welfare organizations that strives to improve the life quality of Malaysians and in line with YKN directions.
iv. Spread information in the field of community welfare.
v. Organize seminars, conferences and workshops related to community welfare for participants.
vi. Encourage and organize research in the field of community work.
