About

Initiated in Makassar, South Sulawesi in 1996 and notarized on January 23, 1997, the Indonesian Marine Conservation Foundation (YKL) is a Non-Governmental Organization whose movement is oriented towards: Conservation of Coastal and Marine Ecosystems Empowerment of Coastal and Small Islands Communities Implementation of Friendly Alternative Technologies Environment These three aspects are based on the fact that the exploitation of marine natural resources (SDA) continues to increase in line with increasing human needs, but not in line with the recovery process.
