Youth Dialogue Zimbabwe Youth (YDZ) is a youth based civil society organization established to work with youths based mostly in rural communities of Manicaland Province. It is a registered trust with Deed No MA560/2009. YDZ is currently implementing programmes in Mutare district which includes; Nyagundi (Ward 34), Odzi, Marange and others Youth Dialogue Zimbabwe mainly works in five major themes: Good governance and youth participation, Entrepreneurship and life skills, Education and SRHR, Research, Documentation and Advocacy, Entrepreneurship and finally Environmental Conservation and Climate change. The work of the organization is based on organized youth community groups in the mentioned areas.
Provide information and services that enable people to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health.
To equip young people and their communities with strategies for political tolerance, peaceful democratic participation and participation in local and national civic processes.
Empower young people to meaningfully participate in wealth creation for rural development
To promote, organize, enhance knowledge, understanding and appreciation of nature, and the principle and practice of conservation of natural resources among the common mass.
Conduct evidence-based advocacy to influence the formal and informal policies established by policymakers and others in power.
A healthy, empowered rural youth citizenry participating fully in national development
They are commissioned to promoting SRHR and livelihoods information/knowledge sharing amongst rural youths to enhance their active participation in community development.
To develop healthy and self reliant rural youth that actively participates in community development
