With over 12 years of experience in international development and public health, Malik is a Strategic Information Advisor - Monitoring Evaluation, Data Analytics and Digital Health at USAID, where he leads the Data for Implementation (Data.FI) project, conducts health information systems assessments, and sets targets and assess performance of for key indicators. He holds a master's degree in International Public Health/International Health and another master's degree in Development Studies, as well as certifications in Monitoring and Evaluation, Management Strategies, and Data Use. Malik's core competencies include data use, monitoring and evaluation, epidemiology, research, leadership and strategic thinking, digital health, and ICT4D. He has published multiple papers and received honors for his contributions to the study of mental health and disease outbreaks in low and middle income countries. He is passionate about using data to inform evidence-based decision making and improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
