Finding concrete science-based solutions for worldwide problems. - Conducting research at the interaction between Climate systems, Disasters and Society - Four years’ experience in DRR projects with the Netherland Red Cross (510 global Data Preparedness Team) and the International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI) - Experience applying social sciences methods: Conducting Focus Group Discussions and Key Informant Interviews on the field, as well as analysing outcomes. - Capacity for synthesis, with key experience in large remote sensing and climate dataset analysis in time and space: programming (Python) and professional GIS experience. - Master degree in hydrology and water resources at IHE-Delft and disaster management certificate from IFRC-TISS. - Transdisciplinary and international experiences in Australia, France, the Netherlands and USA. Cooperation with humanitarian and climate stakeholders in Malawi, Mali, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Senegal, Haiti, Ecuador and the Caribbean’s. - Strong interpersonal skills, proactivity, dynamism and creativity.
