With over a decade of experience, I have dedicated my career to ensuring the seamless integration of risk management and financial oversight in the international development sector. My journey has been marked by impactful roles with renowned organizations such as the UN World Food Programme, UNICEF, Christian Aid, and Oxfam Novib. I have managed multi-million-dollar projects sponsored by prestigious entities like the Government of the Netherlands, DFID, EU, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. My expertise lies in embedding risk assessment into strategic planning, which has significantly enhanced operational decision-making and compliance standards across various programs. One of my proudest achievements was pioneering the establishment of the first Risk Monitoring dashboard in the WFP Nigeria Country Office. This tool continues to drive effective risk mitigation strategies. I also led the coordination of the inaugural Fraud Risk Assessment Exercise in the same office.
